Allspice and vanilla. Huge cinnamon notes, freshly grated nutmeg, black pepper and rich Black Forest Honey.
Demerara sugar, smoky molasses and a big whack of cloves, nutmeg and sweet cinnamon.

Whoever in the name of F**k gave this a 1 Star rating is on Crack Cocaine. this is a very nice spiced rum as a mixer, admittedly not as good straight. there are better rums out there in my opinion such as Kraken, however this is still very nice.

Awful rum, gone are the days where this was one of the best out there. Do not buy. Stay away. That might send a message to go back to the old recipe which was amazing.
In trying to get a decent rum collection together i bought this for nostalgic reasons, i remember it being not good but OK. This "New" bottle, i am sorry but i really cannot drink it. Its a travesty, the only saving grace is that at 35% it cannot legally be called rum in the EU. I will not buy Captain Morgan ever again.
Dont know as i only enjoyed the original dark captain. For sure the taste and quality is totally destroyed. Shame on you. Gonna loose a lot of customers!!
