From Italy's Villa Crespia winery comes this brut sparkling Franciacorta white wine, sustainably produced from chardonnay grapes grown in the winery's organic vineyards, spanning the six protected Franciacorta growing regions. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks before maturing for 7-8 months, then refermented and aged in the bottle for at least 18 months. Brimming with delicate florals, orchard fruits, and citrus, this will make a fab alternative to prosecco or Champagne when the occasion calls for a good bottle of bubbly.
Creamy effervescence with yeasty brioche and toasted almonds, joined by plenty of crisp green apple and pear. A lift of lemon and fresh lime zest follows, with a touch of sweet plum and floral vanilla in the distance.
