Japan

Sake aficionado Île Four has forayed into the world of shochu! This it The Distiller 001, distilled from Ginjo sake lees (also known as pomace). Boasting some delicate floral notes at 20% ABV, it's a perfect after dinner sipper. Oh, also, there's some sort of robot on the label. Apparently its name is The Distiller, and it makes the shochu. Which is very kind of it.
Crisp, with notes of citrus blossom, white stone fruit and chamomile.

Absolutely sublime. I accidentally drank the whole bottle in one night and regret nothing. It's so delicious and easy to sip away at you'll be guarenteed a fun night, but it'll make you pay for it the following day!
Like drinking spring water barely scented with flowers, one of the best shochus I've had outside of Japan. Be careful -- it goes down so easy you might finish the bottle without noticing.
