William Hinton 6 Year Old Whisky Cask Matured
You've sampled Madeira wine - now familiarise yourself with William Hinton's range of Madeira-made rums! The brand founder's eponymous distillery can trace its roots back to 1845, when its agricole libations first came to the fore. This particular expression has been matured in an ex-whisky cask which adds a vanilla sweetness to those earthy agricole aromas. Tasty.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nutty, earthy and vegetal on the nose, with vanilla and sweet spices coming through on the palate. Lots of tropical fruit, too.
