The brand founder's eponymous distillery can trace its roots back to 1845, when its agricole libations first came to the fore. This particular expression has been matured in an ex-whisky cask which adds a vanilla sweetness to those earthy agricole aromas. Tasty.
Nutty, earthy and vegetal on the nose, with vanilla and sweet spices coming through on the palate. Lots of tropical fruit, too.
