Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Good quality coffee (the kind Jimmie Dimmick would buy), nutmeg and a hint of caramel.

Spanish Caribbean - Remarkable Regional Rums (West Indies Rum & Cane Merchants) Reviews

Not recommended.

Terribly overpriced. The finish is the only redeeming aspect of this mysterious rum with no distillery or firm region source, or age statement. Really quite average, with some strange artificial notes on the palate. A bit harsh, too. Not recommended.

Fruit forward rum, great option to heavy Demerara Sugar.

A great change. Not like Guyanese Demerara, but more fruit up front. Great Summer option as a fruit mixer or straight on ice. A terrific sipping rum. If you normaly enjoy a slice of lime in your rum, you’ve been trying to balance the sugar found in nearly all dark rums from the banks of the Demerara river. Swill this around and see it stick to the side of your glass. You won’t find this clear characteristic in many rums, no after taste. Enjoy as light ciactail before Dinner. A fine delicate rum.

Cuba et dominicana

Soft gentle rum. Don't know what the other guy is talking about. Guessing he likes bacardi.

Mediocre rum, but lovely shelf decor! 🥃

First impressions: a bit of wood taste, but a lot of burn! This is not a sipper, nor is it an aged, premium rum. No depth at all. All young, raw, multi-column still. Very overpriced for what it is. There's a reason no details are given.
I'm convinced that this company was formed when someone got a deal on a warehouse full of the bottles, then came up with a 'concept' to fill them.
