Joining Takamaka's La Clos series, this limited edition is a blend of 100% unaged local sugar cane rums, produced from non-hybrid cane varieties sourced from farmers local to the Trois Freres distillery distillery in the Seychelles. The distillery recently installed two new stills which were put to use in the creation of this rum, first distilled in a 1,000 litre still, then refined in a smaller 450 litre still before bottling without added sugar, charcoal filtration, or chill filtration.
