I really love the taste of Takamaka, one of the only rums I can drink on the rocks, but splash it with some diet Coke, and it becomes the nectar of the Gods !! Can understand why it's not everyone's favourite, but the best thing to ever come out of The Seychelles!
I have a sweet tooth and love rums which are a little sweet and have a lot of spice. Alas, the rum and spices are at odds with one another. Tastes similar to Malibu but with a shaper taste of rum and an aftertaste of bananas? Not to my taste.
