Created by The Woodlab Distillery, founder Ric Dyer uses his background in organic chemistry to produce handcrafted Irish spirits that speak of the Irish countryside. This expression is no exception. White rum from the Caribbean is infused with local Jonagold apples grown on the border of County Armagh and Tyrone to make this unique spirits. Serve neat or with lemonade and a garnish of pink grapefruit.
Rich and intense with aromas of apple, nutmeg and cloves.
This isn't like other rums, which is to be expected as a flavoured rum. It has enough complexity to be consumed alone and the nearly candied Apple flavour is strong enough that it could be happily served with a mixer or as part of a cocktail.
Not very good if you like a rum, actually tastes more like a vodka….albeit a nice vodka, but not what i was expecting. Im a tad disappointed if im totally honest
