Quite dry with more candied ginger at the fore. Hot cross buns with butter, tropical fruit.

After being in St. Vincent for 2 days on business, I can truly say that this rum starts it off nicely. It's unique strength hits you within minutes, and -even though I'm a single malt whiskey drinker- I am very happy with this products results and would recommend for anyone who loves the taste of rum & coke...By itself, it can be painfully addictive; but, one thing is for sure: This rum is (by far) the best I've ever had. Also note: if you end up in a resort in St. Vincent, it'll only cost $20 US dollars to purchase. I can't wait to get my second bottle -- as I have been "milking" this one for month's (cause of its' awesome characteristics).
I've been buying this from Germany for some time and I'm really pleased to see it available in the UK after much searching. It's not exactly a daily drinker but it is very well made and is great in cocktails, rum and cokes etc.This stuff makes a great Mojito! If I'm a bit desperate it will go down neat, but, being a white rum, it has little flavour and complexity so its not really a sipper. What flavour it has is definitely not unpleasant and many people I know prefer this to the ester-y Wray and Nephew...which requires careful mixing. Great versatile rum, and a pretty unique product. (Most other overproof rums only go to 75.5% and Stroh goes to 85 I think...) Big thumbs up from me!
This stuff is great , we used it to make all sorts of cocktails and rum punch's, we think it is the strongest rum you can buy on the market. We tried drinking it neat and it actually to our surprise tasted pretty good. i recommend this to all rum fans out there , give it go .
