Spiced rum from St Lucia! Coffey and pot still rums are aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being blended and infused with local fruits and spices. Including the likes of cinnamon, clove, vanilla, allspice and orange peels, this is packed with tropical flavour.
Orange peels, Jaffa Cakes, and pomander balls. Dark chocolate, Jamaican ginger cake, and festive cinnamon biscuits, with warming anise, vanilla, and sweet wafts of caramel, and cola cubes.
$35.82 - $122.56
In my view doesn't come close to many of the more complex 'pleasure the mouth' with lasting taste spiced rums. Reminded me of Bacardi & coke (which I hate). With so many good spiced rums to enjoy, this one will now remain 'opened just the once'.
Unlike other spiced rums, the base used for this rum is high quality. As such, it does not have to be over-sweet. Winner !!
First time id tried this, but impressed......Straight with ice or a dash of lemonade....I was only sad that the other order id placed earlier for brandy and port,i never got any free gift...and with this one, only a £5 Off voucher if i spend £50...Which unfortunately i cant afford to do......But top marks for the choice of brands you offer.
A rum drinker in Soufriere in St Lucia about 20 years ago - if you want to add a mixer orange juice is the only thing to use. Try it once and you’ll never go back!
Too heavy on the cinnamon for a rum.and coke but mix with ginger beer and it's perfect.
