    Chairman’s Reserve Legacy Rum

A special bottling from Chairman's Reserve, celebrating the legacy of founder Laurie Bernard! His vision and passion for good rum pushed the St Lucia Distillers to expand their kit and broaden their rum horizons. Pot stills were added to their existing column still set up, dormant sugar cane fields were replanted for their own estate grown sugar and the craft of blending the brand's different rums to achieve greater character and complexity began. And so, the much revered Chairman's Reserve brand was born! This expression includes column and pot still molasses based rums blended with estate grown sugar cane rum, creating a true realisation of Laurie Bernard's vision.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Butterscotch, dark berries and sultanas with hints of spicy oak, tobacco, pine, and nutmeg spice. Bananas with vanilla caramel sauce, charred pineapple with burnt brown sugar and spice on the finish.

Reviews for Chairman’s Reserve Legacy Rum

    Gorgeous

I can’t give 5 stars for a rum yet as I’m sure I haven’t tried my favourite at this point, that said…..this rum is delicious for the price.

    Rich, complex, grassy and weird

I get a deep dark complex mix of toffee, overlaid with grassy vegetable weirdness. It's different, and I keep coming back to it. The small addition of agricole really makes this stand out from the crowd. Out of 12 so called sippers I've bought so far, this would definitely be no 3 on the list
