From the St Aubin Distillery in Mauritius comes its XO Rum, made using sugar cane juice and matured in a combination of new French oak and ex-Cognac casks. A richly-flavoured expression, really impressive and intriguing.
Fresh green apple and juicy papaya, followed by grassy sweetness and a touch of marzipan, earthy oak and hints of anise develop later on.
