Description

A blend of St Aubin pot still rhum agricole aged 3 to 7 years in American and French oak.

Nose

Very chocolatey as it opens - almost a bit of Ovaltine to it. Underneath there are hints of plum and rubber.

Palate

Chocolate ice-cream, waxy orange, papaya, nutmeg and coffee.

Finish

Soft Christmas spice notes stick around on the finish.

Fantastic old rum from Mauritius. Saint Aubin is the best rum producer of this island.
