From Scotland's Solway Spirits comes an enjoyably spicy Spiced Rum, made with herbs, spiced, fresh root ginger and a pinch of chilli. This'll make for a tasty warming treat in winter.
This is a very sweet spiced rum. It's right on the limit for me, almost a little too sickly. It's been on my shelf for quite some time as I only have a single glass from time to time. Flavour wise it's quite unique, always gives me a hint of sherbet with some other spices thrown in. If you like the Old J rums you'll probably love this one, if you prefer a darker spiced rum then perhaps not.
