At the core of this fabulous winter warmer lies a blend of the very finest high proof Caribbean rum, to which was added creamy Madagascan vanilla and a generous helping of zesty orange peel. A secret recipe was followed, finished with a handful of cassia and cloves and just a hint of cardamom.
Rumbullion! proudly flaunts its maritime inspiration with a label that bears a hand-drawn illustration of a Navy grog tub, and just like all of the fine spirits in the Ableforth's arsenal, each bottle is wrapped in brown paper, wound with twine and sealed with black wax.

A fabulously decadent nose of intense, sweet vanilla and flamed orange zest. The cardamom makes itself known by offering up an evocative suggestion of old-fashioned cola, and to this the cloves bring out a deep, dark complexity. Yet more sweetness with cinnamon, which melds beautifully with essential oil notes of Seville orange peel.
At once a fabulous mix of thick cut bitter orange marmalade and tingling, zinging spices. Hints of Manuka honey and mouth-watering cinnamon form its heart, with molasses, candy floss, toffee apples, crème brûlée and clove-studded oranges.
A long finish, with tongue-prickling spices, and a stunning degree of freshness as cinnamon, orange and creamy, sweet vanilla notes coat the palate for minutes.

This is the third time I have bought this rum now. must say it is by far the best spiced rum I have drank. I have also introduced this rum to many friends now who also give positive reviews. brilliantly smooth and full of flavour. if you are new to rum or not I would definitely recommend it. anyone who would give this a bad review clearly knows nothing of rum. top quality, I certainly hope they never stop producing this rum!

Sickly sweet and an overpowering taste of cloves. Tastes of anything but Rum. If anyone wants a bottle they can have mine. Awful, awful stuff.
Just opened my first bottle of Rumbullion and I'm very happy. I wouldn't call it "rum", but I have no problem with anyone else calling it that. It has just enough sweetness to hide the 42.6% ABV bite, and enough flavor complexity to keep one entertained trying to identify everything. It seems about the same strength (or less) as Cointreau, for instance, but is actually stronger. Indeed a nice warming drink for winter (no need to add anything to what comes out of the bottle). I expect it to make an equally as nice mixer for a cool summer drink when the time comes.
Very smooth rum, huge vanilla and spice flavours, nice on its own or with a mixer. Another winner from the Professor, Jack Sparrow would definitely approve!
