A 1 litre bottling of Ron Zacapa's Edición Negra, which was originally released for the Travel Retail market. This has been aged in double charred American oak barrels, resulting in smoky elements coming through the thick brown sugar and chocolate notes.
Coffee bean, cocoa, fiery cinnamon, wafts of smoky barrel char and runny caramel.

Absolutely amazing soft tones of vanilla, hazelnuts and chocolate.
I do not like rum. However, based upon many reviews, I purchased the Negra bottling crossing the US/Canada border. I was amazed just how good it was! I started with Scotch about one year ago. This drinks as smoothly as my Glenmorangie 18. The price at the duty free store was a great bargain, compared to the price in Canada. This is a great rum, even for those who do not drink rum. I am converted. Smooth and full of flavour. Definitely recommended.
The best Ron in the world.
Purchased at London U.K. at duty free. It was only 90 pounds and the flat bottle. I love Eldorado 21 year but Zacapa is head and shoulders above Eldorado
