A favourite here at Master of Malt, this is a truly superb Guatemalan rum, blended using the solera system, and including rums aged between six and 23 years. Sublime stuff, matured in a mix of bourbon and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
Very sweet and nutty, honey and chocolate. Dark brown sugar, gentle smoke. Pipe tobacco.
Very sweet and soft. Dark brown sugar, molasses, rounded, so gentle!
Thick, medium length, hint of smoke on the tail.

Pfff like angels in your mouth. Taste sensation! No other rum for me. Sunday afternoon with friends and cigars. Pure of coarse.
Those people saying this is amazing and the best they ever had, probably haven't tried many rums. At £54 this is a complete rip off. The rums you could buy with this money and actually get the quality you deserve for such a price. Pussers Gunpowder Proof is twice as good at £35 Anything by Richard Seale is also much better, R.L Seale's 10 is £36 Ron Zacapa 23 is bland in comparison, I was so disappointed after reading the good reviews it has. It would be an ok rum at around £30, but this is over hyped and over priced.
As a female dark rum fanatic, Zacapa 23 is best served neat to be appreciated. It finishes clean with no hangovers and a true sipper's delight.
When the most unique and best friends I've ever had. Really has a cherry type taste to it
I like my whisky, red wine, and port. This rum think: Seppeltfield Para 18yr if you like port/fortified wines. Whisky drinkers think Aberlour A'bunadh.
