A beautifully smooth, sweet Dominican rum from Ron Barceló, Gran Añejo is a perfect mixer and works tremendously well in a variety of dark rum cocktails, or you could just have it with a few ice cubes and a squeeze of fresh lime.
Nice aroma. The first neat drink on ice was nice, with a little bite at the end, but it grew on me. Worth pouring and leaving to stand for a while, and then its delicious. Had it neat, with ginger beer and with orange peel - which was a revelation. Gorgeous.
Smooth and sweet. A great easy drinking rum, perfect with ginger ale.
One of the best runs I have had it’s sting but smooth great with ginger beer or coke.
Love this rum. Highly recommend. Reminds me of being on holiday in DR. Have purchased many times.
