Another delicious spiced rum from RedLeg, this expression is infused with vanilla, Jamaican ginger and caramelised pineapple. The rum base is distilled in the Caribbean and then rested in oak, before the completely natural pineapple flavour is added. The result is a warming and fruity rum that would do very well in summery cocktails or simply mixed with tonic! The creature on the label looks like it's running away from a tiny pineapple. Enjoy making up your own story as to why it is so scared of the tiny pineapple while enjoying this fab spiced rum.
A good kick of ginger and pepper spice, creamy vanilla and syrupy, caramelised sweet pineapple.

There’s not much I could add to the last review. Perfect with a little ginger ale, ice and lots of limes (give em a squeeze). I’m just sorry I only found this out too late in the summer.
Neat, I don’t like this. For me there is no sweetness at all, just too much of a acrid sensation once swallowed. However, mixed with a quality mixer this rum morphs into something much more mellow and sugary. I tried this first with Coca-Cola and yes it did improve the rum, because the pineapple finally comes through, making this drink sweeter. Nevertheless, I found that even when mixed with Coca-Cola there was still a weird unpleasant aftertaste. So I tried Rubicon fizzy mango as a mixer, because I discovered that mango and pineapple are meant to go well together. And yes bingo. Using Rubicon as a mixer instead of Coca-Cola, this rum becomes deliciously fruity and sweet, and more importantly, the jarring aftertaste disappears.
This with a little ginger ale is my new favourite summer drink. I love the smoky pineapple flavour and the spice. It's quite sweet and it tastes like a liqueur but with the alcohol content of a pure rum. I've tried a few mixers and find that while ginger beer overpowers it and lemonade makes it a little too sweet, ginger ale complements it perfectly.
Really nice
A bit different, very sweet. Nice summer drink on ice.
