Co-founder Tom left the army in pursuit of the perfect spiced rum, and so Pull the Pin was born! To create it, a range of spices is infused as well as butterscotch, making for a warming, sweet and spicy spirit. Before it's bottled the rum is rested in oak, mellowing the spirit and adding some mature, woody notes. To get the most out of it, try sipping it over ice with a ribbon of orange peel and crystallised ginger.
We reckon Pull the Pin Spiced is one of our Best Rums under £40!
Silky notes of butterscotch supported by aromatic baking spice, with prominent cinnamon, brown sugar and tobacco.

Awesome stuff. The butterscotch tone at the end of a mouthful of this is absolute bliss. My favourite for some time.

I was given a bottle of this for Christmas and was saving it for a suitable occasion...... I didn't expect that occasion to be a national lockdown! This rum is delicious either as a long drink with cola or ginger beer, or as suggested on the bottle, with crystalised ginger and orange zest. Two more bottles on order to get us through!
A decent bottle of rum, definitely get hits of vanilla and cinnamon, among others. Which is to be expected from a spiced rum. The pin in the cork was a very nice touch too. Saying all that it does have a very spirity taste, which can over power the flavour. I have drunk stronger smoother and cheaper rums than this. I would drink this again as it is nice, just not £35 nice. Personally I would choose Bacradi's Carte Feugo over this.
