Description

An extremely smart gift pack from Planteray, containing its glorious XO Barbados 20th Anniversary edition, accompanied by a handsome pair of branded tasting glasses. This delightful rum is distilled in Barbados and aged in bourbon barrels before being shipped to France for a secondary maturation in Cognac casks from the Ferrand house. With its impressive decanter-style bottle, this will make a fab present for a rum fan!

Nose

Hints of spicy oak on the nose, with guava, a little desiccated coconut and dried banana. Buttery.

Palate

Spiced, creamy palate entry, with sweet vanilla notes and caramel. Oaky spices.

Caramel. Toasted oak.

Bought three sets for my sons and self after receiving a taster of Plantation XO with a prior order. This is now my favourite rum very smooth and moreish, and the glasses are perfect .
