Description

An extremely smart gift pack from Planteray, containing its glorious XO Barbados 20th Anniversary edition, accompanied by a handsome pair of branded tasting glasses. This delightful rum is distilled in Barbados and aged in bourbon barrels before being shipped to France for a secondary maturation in Cognac casks from the Ferrand house. With its impressive decanter-style bottle, this will make a fab present for a rum fan!

Nose

Hints of spicy oak on the nose, with guava, a little desiccated coconut and dried banana. Buttery.

Palate

Spiced, creamy palate entry, with sweet vanilla notes and caramel. Oaky spices.

Caramel. Toasted oak.

What a delight!

Probably the best rum I've tried to date. Rich, very smooth and very moreish. Will be buying this again if its available.

Excellent Rum

First drank the plantation Rum in Barbados on holiday many years ago really enjoyed it. People were drinking with Coconut water or in a Rum Punch of their choice. Still enjoy it today,sometime with Banana and Fresh orange Not out of a container must be fresh oranges of course your own Ice Not killed with Ice from a Bar. We have glasses so just buy the Rum.???
