Plantation Jamaica 2002 Reviews

Perfect Funk

completely disagree with the reviews... this is outstanding funky Jamaican Rum

Good cooking rum.

Gave my black pepper sauce an interesting piquant flavor.

A harsh umami-like astringency to the aftertaste due to the sugar they add to this. Very disappointed.

Otherwise, very rummy at first, and very cognac-y as well. With a few days in the bottle the rum aroma does fade quite a bit and the whole experience kind of collapses.

A fully natural Plantation expression might have been interesting. Shame they don't have one.
