Description
Planteray gives its XO Barbados 20th Anniversary Rum the PX cask treatment for this indulgent edition! After an initial maturation in bourbon barrels in Barbados, followed by secondary maturation in Ferrand Cognac casks in France, the rum enjoyed a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Andalusia, Spain, bringing rich notes of candied nuts and raisins to this generously aged sipper. This will be next level for rum-based twists on classics like a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned.

Sun-dried raisins, toasted oak, and hints of dessicated coconut join silky molasses, creamy caramel, fig rolls, and spiced banana loaf.
