La Hechicera is Spanish for "the enchantress"... This rum was made in Colombia and is aged in a bourbon barrel solera. Boasting rich notes of chocolatey, earthen spice, sweet fruits, and delicate vanilla, it's very good indeed.

50ml La Hechicera Fine Aged Rum
15ml Lime juice
15ml Sugar syrup
15ml Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Liqueur
Fresh chilli pepper for garnish
Shake all the ingredients in a shaker with ice, strain into a coupe glass, and garnish with a fresh chilli pepper.

Nose Coffee beans and chocolate. Plantains, peppermint leaves and vanilla cream. Chocolate.
Palate Plum jam and dark chocolate. A little chilli, black pepper, cinnamon and cassia bark.
Finish Nutmeg and cocoa. Peppercorns and vanilla.
