This is a Navy strength blend of rums from Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica, which has been finished in casks that have a stave made from wood taken from famous Royal Navy warship, HMS Victory. It was created by the Isle of Wight distillery in The National Museum of the Royal Navy.

Oof! Now this certainly packs a punch! Without doubt my favourite Rum right now. Strong but flavoursome and, with a touch of orange spiced ginger, a beautifully sippable drink. I'm on my second bottle and this will, doubtless, become a staple of my rum collection. Fantastic.
This is a proper rum, really strong notes of molasses and burnt sugar and at 100% proof, it really packs a punch but not so much that it kills the flavour. If you like a seriously strong rum, you'll love this. Not sure how much flavour the lump of HMS Victory in the cask adds, clearly gimmick value but the recipe has been painstakingly recreated from true Caribbean rums and Navy records.
