Nose

Burnt sugar, maple syrup, pecan Danishes, ginger, nutmeg and oak.

Palate

Lots of character and spicy complexity. Notes of chocolate oranges, espresso beans, cedar wood, cigar leaves, calves leather, musty woodsheds and crème caramel.

Finish

Hints of smoke and sugared peels, very fruity.

Excellent rum! very smooth at 45%abv... A quality barrel proof rum and delicious sipper. Great rum and a great value.

Great flavor, a real sipping rum.

I picked this rum up at the terminal in Havana. I hadn't heard of it before but now I and a number of my friends know and like it.

New favorite Rum

I have always loved Havana Club Anejo 7 but this blows the doors off that. Nice and smooth in the mouth with a good afterburn. I get fed up with all of these sweet rums, this rum lets the complexities out, and finishes well. I can’t see it lasting long in my house.
