The Royal Cane Cask Company
A limited, single cask rum from the Foursquare distillery in Barbados. A mixture of pot and column still rum distilled in 2005, matured in a single American white oak cask for 17 years. This rum enjoyed a tropical maturation until 2017 when it crossed the Atlantic Ocean to finish its aging in the historic Liverpool docks. Only 271 bottles were produced when the cask was opened by The Royal Cane Cask Company in 2022. Expect layers of freshly baked banana bread, toasted coconut, creamy vanilla, and oaky spices.
Outrageously good. Punchy, rich and fruity. Dark fruits and burnt sugar, with hints of sweet coconut and vanilla. Brilliant rum, and the high proof means you only need two or three to round off the evening.
