Enmore 27yo TBRC Bottling Note

A 27 year old Guyanese rum from the long-closed Enmore distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Rum Company. It was produced using the Versailles single wooden pot still during its brief stay at Enmore - this still would later find a home at the Diamond distillery. Brilliant stuff.

Batch 1 is a release of 413 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Loads of ripe banana and spicy vanilla, built on a robust oaky core. There’s a linseed richness and a herbal green quality, backed with cocoa notes. Perhaps savoury plantain, too.

Palate: Marzipan-led, with oodles of cooked pineapple, milk chocolate and papaya notes. The banana is in cake form now, and the toasty oak continues to add a richness.

Finish: Rich and well-defined, with that almond-pineapple duality continuing.

Overall: Bold, super-tropical and a load of fun!
