This aged rum from Dictador is rather dazzling. Made with virgin sugar cane honey, Dictador forgoes the copper for distillation, instead using a stainless steel alembic still. This Columbian rum is then aged in ex-sherry and ex-Port barrels, some of which undergo re-charring, for a full-flavoured rum with plenty of oak character.
