This edition of Sinfonia rum from Columbia's Dictador was distilled in 2000 and matured for a generous 22 years, beginning in American oak and finishing in a fino sherry cask. The rum was personally selected by master blender Hernan Parra, and it's an impressive premium sipper.
Rich red fruits, raspberry and white chocolate. Some notes of sandalwood, cinnamon and clove. A hint of vintage leather.
Lighter notes of new leather and suede, some grapefruit and blood orange, and a note of lavender. Red cherry and light tobacco spices.
