Dictador 18 Year Old 2004 (cask ExP-896) Sinfonia Pardo
18-year-old rum from Dictador in Columbia, selected by master distiller Hernan Parra. After an initial maturation in American oak, the rum was treated to a finish in a Port cask imparting delicious notes of red fruits and spice.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Red apples, blackcurrant leaf, figs, dates and old leather. There is also nutmeg and mace, with some pink peppercorns and a hint of ginger.
Palate
Really fruity with notes of plums, damsons, and fig. There is also leather and oak spices, with some cinnamon too.
Finish
The cinnamon comes through with a hint of vanilla.
