
A superb sipping rum from Dictador in Columbia, selected by master distiller Hernan Parra. Distilled in 2005 and initially filled into American oak to mature, the rum was then transferred to a Port cask to finish its 17-year maturation, resulting in indulgent notes of marshmallow, chocolate, and elegant spice.
Toasted almonds with hints of nutmeg, vanilla and mango. Notes of ginger come through followed by pink peppercorns.
Soft and easy drinking this has a lovely marshmallow note with some milk chocolate and orange zest. This moves into light spices, showcasing nutmeg and ginger powder.
Milk chocolate, raisin and hazelnuts.
