Glorious Guyanese rum here, distilled at the Diamond Distillery in 2010 and matured in a single barrel, followed by an exciting finishing period in an Islay whisky cask! In 2010, the fabulous folk at Berry Bros. & Rudd drew a total of 235 bottles from this cask for bottling, at a hefty cask strength of 60.5% ABV.
Dark, burnt sugar and grilled pineapple, followed by a gentle salinity and noticeable whiffs of peaty bonfire ash. Earthy rubber, woody sugar cane, and allspice ride throughout.
