I like smoked bacon ..I like smoked cheese .. I love this smoked Rum especially over ice...if you dont like smokey tones need I say more ..and trust me its nothing like an ash tray .. will be having it again NICE
I was given a bottle of this rum as a present. As a life long non-smoker I was not really looking forward to drinking this, especially given some of the reviews on this site re ashtrays. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this rum. The only hint of smoke taste I get is if you sip it neat. My first thought on tasting this is of a coffee cream chocolate. Definitely not unpleasant. I vary my rum drinking between dark rums (OVD, Pussers) and golden rums with a preference for the dark rums and a tendency to be more adventurous with the golden ones. I would recommend anyone not to be influenced by prior negative comments re this rum but to give it a try. I really enjoyed this.
