Best rum ever!
Certainly an acquired taste. Very smokey, almost like BBQ liquid smoke, at first but gives way to a definite coffee cake finish. The closest taste I can equate it to is camp fire smoke followed by Camp coffee essence, heavy on the chicory. Amazing if you like the coffee cremes from chocolate selection boxes
Not the best. As a long time ago ex smoker this smells and tastes like having a glass of rum and cigarette at the same time. Over powering and quite unpleasant. Couldn't get rid of the aftertaste at all. Might be great in certain cocktails with other powerful ingredients to mask it but I couldnt find one.
