High-quality Dominican rum from the Brugal range, which is double distilled then matured in American oak barrels. After a lengthy maturation in the aforementioned barrels, the rum then enjoys a second maturation in Spanish oak sherry casks, helping to accentuate the rich fruity sweetness of the spirit.
Toasty and sweet with charred oak, sultanas, dates and honey, with a touch of gentle smoke.
Buttery and sweet with butterscotch, Demerara sugar, manuka honey and wafts of wood smoke.

An easy drinking aged rum. It's smooth and doesn't burn your throat but still full on flavour.All the flavours are in balance.I recommend drinking it neat to appreciate the full taste. Brugal is a very popular brand of rum in Spain and I can understand why.
Outstanding I'm not usually a one for dark rum but this has blown my taste buds away. Smooth and very flavoursome, some hits of cherry and vanilla with a smell of oak and not at all harsh aftertaste. Probably the best dark rum I've had, I served mine with ginger beer and ice. picked up this product at a good price.
