Belgrove Spiced Fig & Blackberry Rum

Another excellent and intriguing flavour combination here from the Belgrove team, bringing together aged rum, fig, blackberry, and a selection of spices! A base of Guyanese rum is infused with fig, blackberry, cinnamon, and honeycomb, resulting in a complex, full-bodied flavour profile. Serve simply over ice, or mix with cola, or even give it a go in a Daiquiri!

I bought this rum from Penrith Cranstons where the fella was advertising it. From the first sniff I was intrigued. From the first taste I was sold and bought the hazelnut bottle too. A Quirky, Sweet, Fruity Rum! Certainly Different!

I may not be the most suitable person to review this rum as I’m not a great fan of fig and I’ve never even tried a blackberry. My opinion is this, it’s weird, strange and certainly different! Neat it’s sweet and fruity with fig being the predominant flavour. The alcohol burn is harsh. And in the finish there is plenty of flavour going on. As a long drink, this rum definitely tastes better. Whether you use Coca-Cola or lemonade, in fact better with the latter. So if you like your rums a little bit off the wall, quirky even, then I have no qualms in recommending you buy this. However, if you are more of a rum traditionalist then I suggest you give Belgrove Spiced Fig & Blackberry Rum a massive swerve!

An absolutely excellent rum, full of lovely flavours, a definite must have in anybody's spirits cupboard.

Excellent tasting rum, a must buy!

As a "veteran of the spiced rum campaign" I tried this rum for the first time this weekend. I have to say that this is a real game changer! The rum itself is so smooth and the flavour profile is not just different but also refreshing in a market full of ginger and vanilla based flavoured rums. This rum is great with just ice but it really came into it's own for me when mixed with Pepsi Max. The fruity flavours came through and at a very respectable 40% this is real rum! I think another order will be placed shortly as this is a smooth, fruity and very drinkable rum indeed!

Incredible rum

Not surprised this is currently sold out… it’s amazing! Even just over ice the flavours really pull through. I made it with an iced tea as it was hot and worked really well.
