If you're expecting this to taste of Jamaican rum, or any kind of rum; forget it! It's an insult to even mention rum on the label. At best, this is a spirit based flavoured drink. Sweet to the point of being gross! This does have a particularly long and rather repulsive 'finish'. The sweetness turns "claggy" and the flavourings take-on chemical overtones. This is more like a product I'd expect from either DMF or Project 173.
Every time I share this rum with new people, I love to see there reaction as the flavours kick in. It certainly has a WOW factor. It is great as a sipping rum shared best around a camp fire or if you like a longer drink I found it goes nice with Coca-Cola original and nice with cream soda...this reminds me I need to order some more soon. ??
My favourite tipple at the moment. Wish they did a bigger bottle.
Not a bad rum but they is better Jamaican cask strength out there
I am a lover of rum and this has to be one of the nicest I have tried. Has to be sipped neat over ice. Smooth and creamy but with that fantastic warm feeling going down.
