This right here is an independent bottling of some spectacularly flavoursome Jamaican rum, bottled by 1423 in Denmark exclusively for Master of Malt! This expression has the STC^E marque, which isn't often seen, and it boasts plenty of bold, vibrant, estery notes. It was distilled in 2020 and bottled up in June 2021, drawn from a single cask and presented at a punchy 60.6% ABV. It's intensely and excellently flavourful stuff, this.

Anise, guava, black pepper, orange, lime, red chilli flake, ripe banana, subtly medicinal, a light whiff of smoke.
