Those 1423 folks have bottled another wonderfully estery Jamaican rum for us to enjoy! This one was pot distilled in 2010, and left to mature in a cask which previously held both bourbon and Port until 2020. It was bottled for the Single Barrel Selection at 52% ABV, so expect lots of ripe, funky tropical notes among touches of leather and tobacco.
Tinned pineapple and overripe banana, with a pinch of tobacco, burnt rubber and green walnut, rounded off by a dry finish.
