A Guyanese rum here from Danish bottler 1423, released as part of the Single Barrel Selection. This fantastic expression was distilled back in 2003 and left alone to mature in a single cask until February 2020, when it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 258 bottles.
Earthy oak and roasted coffee beans, followed by sweeter hints of caramelised nuts and dried red fruit.
