Another single cask rum from 1423, this one hails from the Dominican Republic and was distilled in 2006. After many moons it was bottled for the Single Barrel Selection in 2019 with an outturn of 306 bottles at 50% ABV, after being finished in a Madeira cask. Lots of warming, roasted notes to be enjoyed in this toasty rum.
Delicate florals and bittersweet dark chocolate, followed by roasted coffee bean and orange marmalade (with the peel).
