Martins de Sa' Tawny Port is bottled in Portugal at 19% ABV, after being aged in the classic tawny style - which means the use casks instead of large tanks or bottles favoured with other port types. This maturation process, combined with the use of wines selected for their smooth and mellow character, gives a silky, subtle body that just screams sangria - or is that just me?
Aromas of red fruit jam aroma and dried fruit linger sweetly.
Smooth, fine wood is joined by hazelnut and vanilla to temper the sweet fruity tones.
A medium finish, it's slightly acidic, but mostly sweet.

A beautiful tawny port.
Tried this at a tasting and loved it, it is really smooth and not the heavy style of port i remember trying before. I also had it in a rum cocktail and it was absolutely lovely.
Enjoyed this. Officially a port fan! Went down a treat.
