Churchills White Port 50 Bottling Note

A Portuguese white Port from Churchill's (nothing to do with that Prime Minister chap). It's made from a blend of Malvasia Fina, Rabigato, Carga and Viosinho grapes from old vineyards at higher altitudes in the Douro region of Cima Corgo, and then aged in oak casks for 10 years. Great as an aperitif, or also with a splash of tonic and a slice of lemon.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Baking spice and toasted walnut, with a creamy note leading into fresh orchard fruit, apple blossom, fig and a peppery finish.

Churchill's White Port 50cl Reviews

The finest

Simply superb, chilled before dining. Comparable to other dry white ports but with a much deeper and richer flavour and hints of vanilla from the cask.

Went for a tasting at their place in VNdG and had to order a case. So glad it's now available in the UK.
