This is a blend of Cognac and grape juice which was actually produced in Cognac, where it was aged for 18 months, with 12 of those spent in oak casks. It's simply stunning with a cheese board, so do yourself a favour and pick one up for next gathering which requires one (which should be all gatherings. If you're doing one without a cheese board then you're doing it wrong and you should stop).
Bright and inviting with fresh grape juice, white peach, and honey, with hints of almond, vanilla, and a touch of oak spice.
Tinned peaches and toasted almonds dominate the palate, but there's plenty of melting butter and prunes there too. The sweetness is balanced by a light acidity that keeps it lively.
Ripe stone fruit, acacia honey, and a gentle nutty edge.
