
This is a Pechuga mezcal from the Mezcal El Rey Zapoteco range, which was given a second distillation with two turkey breasts, fruits, walnuts, and almonds added to the still. This adds some body to the Mexican spirit, as well as a touch of sweetness to the flavour profile, making for a fascinating sip.
Roasted cedar and baked earth, subtly oily, a slow build of vanilla sweetness, plus red apple and citrus.
