Description

Showing off the classic characteristics of mezcal from the Central Valley of Oaxaca, this splendid expression is brought to us by Derrumbes. Produced with Espadin agave, delicately roasted in a stone pit, it boasts a lightly smoky profile, with rich minerality and zesty fruit. A smashing sipper neat, and it'll certainly add some character to cocktails too.

Overall

Quite floral at the beginning with wafts of honey and fruit tea. Resinous wafts of pine, smoked oak, and leathery spice are lifted by crisp citrus, a prickle of pepper, and juicy roasted agave.

Beautiful

An effortlessly easy Mezcal. The blend of Espadin and Tobala gives this a beautiful fruity complexity that’s worth sitting with. Always the favourite choice of newcomers to Mezcal as it’s less abrupt but very tasty. A tad expensive but there’s a lot to appreciate here, Salud.
