Zanin

An Italian Sambuca from Zanin, ideal for fans of all things anise! Taking inspiration from historic recipes, reinterpreted to suit modern tastes, Zanin begins by infusing a selection of botanicals in strong alcohol for several weeks to extract their flavour. After maceration, the likes of star anise, green anise, fennel seeds, eucalyptus, mint, wormwood, and pepper are distilled and then blended with alcohol, sugar, and water. The liqueur is then rested for several days before filtering and bottling.
Woody, aromatic layers of anise intensity, with liquorice sweetness, wormwood, fennel, rootsy spice, and a touch of peppery warmth.
