Awesome vintage bottle with wicker beehive cap

I've had barenjager honey liqueur many times: straight, on the rocks and mixed. This vintage bottle from the 70s is without a doubt one of the loveliest bottles I've ever seen.

In summary, I do not like the taste of the apparently new formula.

I have one of these bottles which dates back to maybe the early 50's. My Father & Mother owned a tavern
in Chicago from 1945 until 1968. My bottle is from their tavern. When I got it, It was 3/4 full. Over time,
I finished it off. At this point in time, the importer was Joseph Gies Import Inc Chicago. Whenever I had the chance to look for a store that carried Barenjager, in order to purchase another bottle of it, I could not find any.
I did not go from store to store but only checked store that I was in, that sold spirits. I recently found one and bought a bottle. Up until this time I had been making my own using a recipe that I found on-line.
I was very disappointed to find that apparently, they changed the formula, because it had a taste of something new added. To be blunt, it was terrible. I guess I will just continue to made my own. ( to clarify, my bottle calls it, Barenjager and not barenfang. this is the only difference on the label.)
